ProVista founder & CEO - Mr. Steve Chuang, was elected as the alliance’s first Chairman of the Hong Kong New Industrialisation Development Alliance.
The founding ceremony of the Hong Kong New Industrialisation Development Alliance (the “Alliance Connect”) was grandly held on March 18 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, marking a new milestone in cross-sector collaboration for Hong Kong’s new industries and innovation technology development. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Secretary for Justice of the HKSAR, Paul Lam, as the guest of honor, while the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Sun Dong, delivered a compelling keynote speech. Over 500 distinguished guests from the Government, industry, academia, research, and investment sectors attended to demonstrate their support. Following the launch ceremony, the Alliance Connect hosted its inaugural summit forum, bringing together esteemed representatives to engage in discussions on Hong Kong’s innovation and technology development, new industrial landscape, and the advancement of the industrial ecosystem.
Steve Chuang, Chairman of the Hong Kong New Industrialisation Development Alliance and the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, expressed his gratitude for the support received from various sectors, “For 65 years, FHKI has promoted the development of industry and commerce in Hong Kong. The establishment of the Alliance Connect marks a significant step forward in advancing Hong Kong’s new industries and I&T. I am confident we will achieve remarkable progress together. I look forward to working closely with the Government, industry, academia, research, and investment sectors to strengthen the industrial landscape and uncover new growth areas for Hong Kong.”
Following the launch, the Alliance Connect hosted its inaugural summit forum, featuring “Innovation-Driven Future: Shaping Hong Kong’s New Industrial Landscape” and “Cross-sectoral Collaboration: Building Hong Kong’s Industrial Ecosystem.” The forum included high-profile panelists such as Commissioner for Industry (Innovation and Technology) Ge Ming, and other key industry leaders, who explored the path forward for Hong Kong new industrial development.
